Fort’s Values
I believe the education of our children is of paramount importance to a healthy community. Education and family are foundational to children growing up to be successful, productive, and civic minded members of society. I believe our families, local leaders, and teachers know what is best for our children. I believe in small government, because it leads to more individual freedom. I am honest. I want my government, local leaders, and school board to be open and transparent. I believe in free speech, the free exchange of ideas, and that through open and honest debate the best ideas will rise to the top. I am empathetic to the needs of others and believe in building consensus among stakeholder groups for the benefit of all. That means, working and partnering with teachers, administrators, community and business leaders, and parents. I believe in personal responsibility and accountability.
